After years of cutting in Robbinsdale, Imani saw the need for a barbershop that did more than offer a clean fade. He wanted to build a shop that represented culture, community, and connection.

So when the opportunity opened up to join the Midtown Global Market—a space rooted in multicultural business and community—he knew it was the right move. Midtown Barbers was born not just out of ambition, but intention. It was about being visible, being present, and showing up for the people.

Imani built Midtown Barbers to feel like a modern gentleman’s club with an open-door policy. The music’s right. The conversation is real. The vibe is consistent. And every chair is a chance to connect.

Today, Midtown Barbers is recognized as one of the standout Black-owned businesses in the Midtown Global Market. But for Imani, this is just the beginning. His vision includes mentorship, apprenticeship, and building something bigger than a brand—he’s building a legacy.
